Epic Marine Adventure
Embark on an epic marine day excursion.
WE ARE invites you to travel to Playa Guiones, Costa Rica with us! This trip will be an immersive experience into all the elements a new adventure has to offer; from the vibrant array of flora and fauna to the echoing howls and chirps of the local wildlife. This adventure is a journey to a new place with new people but also an opportunity for an inward journey toward your most authentic self. We will take an edible journey through a local organic garden. Creatively reset with daily yoga classes and a unique handstand workshop taught by our incredible Ambassador, Jacquelyn Umof. While we tune into our bodies through yoga we will also tune into the ocean with opportunities to surf a local beginner break! We will immerse ourselves in the local community in a unique 2 part workshop at a local school. And set new intentions in a new moon ceremony under the starry skies of the jungle.

JACQUELYN - A creator of conscious movement and mindfulness
Jacquelyn is a Los Angeles based yogi and dancer. She is a stretching expert and is certified in yoga, pilates, and barre. Her knack for movement does not end there, she is also a professional ballet and ballroom dancer with former experience as a Laker Girl, Clipper Girl, and USC Song Girl.

GIULIA BACCI - Founder of WE ARE
Born and raised in Florence, Italy Giulia has been on her personal pursuit of what creates and maintains happiness. Giulia's kind heart and creative spirit shine through her work and are showcased in the giving back projects WE ARE does abroad. When she is not trying to find the key to happiness Giulia is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor and a lover of any adventure; from snowboarding on the slopes to dancing on water while surfing you will find her with a big smile and open heart.
ACCOMODATION
RAYOS DEL SOL is a group retreat property located on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, in between the towns of San Juanillo and Ostional, just 12 km north of Nosara. The property sits up on top of a hill overlooking the ocean, a short 10 minute walk to the beach.
The 25 acre property features accommodations in spacious villas, an open air dining area and full bar with lounge, pool, yoga deck, fitness facilities a massage room, turf area, and a jungle obstacle course.
CUISINE
All of our meals will be prepared daily by a private chef. The ingredients are always, fresh, locally-sourced, and often homemade. There is a farm located on the property where we can see and smell the very herbs that will be used in our delectable meals.
Start your day with a cup of Costa Rica's finest coffee and end it watching the sun set on the horizon of the Pacific while sipping straight from a coconut!
We can also accommodate any dietary restrictions if we get advanced notice. Let's dive head first into Costa Rican culture and cuisine!

We are partnering with a local school to host a two part workshop. We will spend one day leading a dance workshop with Jacquelyn + a second day leading an art workshop with WE ARE founder, Giulia Bacci. With these workshops we intend to help infuse creative outlets for the children of Nosara.
We will also clean up every beach we set foot on - a small and simple effort, that shines a light on the issues of waste, particularly when it pours directly into our oceans.
Help us grow our WE ARE forest. For every retreat sign up, we will plant a tree through the international project, Treedom, to help capture CO2 emissions, improve air quality, and create a tangible symbol of WE ARE's mission.
